Corpus Christi & the Coastal Bend
Windshield chip repair done right in Corpus Christi
Rock chips are part of driving around here. Loose gravel on I-37, a dump truck on SPID, the caliche back roads out toward Robstown — it only takes one pebble to leave a star or a bullseye in your glass. That little chip looks harmless, but the glass around it is under stress.
Fixed early, a chip is a 30-minute job that saves your windshield. Left alone in the Corpus Christi heat, it can run into a crack across your view and turn into a full replacement. We're a veteran-owned shop with 16 years in the auto glass trade, and we'll give you a straight answer on whether yours can be repaired. We have made quality our habit.
A quick resin repair, before it spreads
A chip repair fills the break so it stops growing and the glass gets its strength back. We clean the damage out, inject clear resin down into the chip, cure it under light, and level it flush with the surface. Most chips — stars, bullseyes, and small combination breaks — are done in about 30 minutes, and you keep your original factory windshield.
- Most chips repaired in about 30 minutes
- Resin injected, cured, and leveled flush
- Stops the chip from spreading into a crack
- Keeps your original factory glass
Waited too long? We'll tell you straight
Not every chip can be saved. Once it spreads into a long crack, reaches the edge of the glass, or sits right in the driver's line of sight, a repair won't hold and it's time for a windshield replacement. We won't talk you into new glass you don't need — send a photo with your VIN or license plate and we'll give you an honest answer either way.

Windshield chip repair questions
Can a windshield chip be repaired, or does it need replacing?
A small chip or ding out of the driver's line of sight can usually be repaired. A crack longer than a dollar bill, damage that reaches the edge of the glass, or a chip right in front of the driver usually calls for a full windshield replacement instead. Send us a photo with your VIN or license plate and we will tell you honestly which one you need.
How long does a chip repair take?
Most chip repairs take about 30 minutes. We clean out the break, inject clear resin into the damage, cure it, and level it flush with the glass. You can usually drive off right after.
Will the chip completely disappear?
A repair restores the strength of the glass and stops the chip from spreading. In most cases the mark shrinks a lot and becomes much harder to see, but a faint spot can remain. The point of a repair is to keep your original factory glass and stop the damage from turning into a crack.
How soon should I get a chip repaired?
As soon as you can. Corpus Christi heat, a cold morning, a rough road, or a car wash can all make a chip spread. The sooner it is fixed, the better the odds it stays a quick repair instead of a full windshield replacement.
Do you offer mobile chip repair?
Yes. We offer free mobile chip repair across Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend communities, so we can come to your home or job site. We work by appointment, so call or text to set a time.
Does insurance cover windshield chip repair?
Many policies and windshield protection plans include glass repair. We work with all insurance carriers and help you file the claim. What is covered depends on your policy, so send us your details and we will walk you through it.
